Liars
After a decade of making music together, Liars are still pushing the boundaries and exploring new sounds with each new release.
Liars most recent full-length, Sisterworld, explored the dark side of life, creating the symphony menace of track like ‘Goodnight Everything’ and ‘Scarecrow On A Killer’. Synthetic keypads, vocal modulation, and interspersed prearranged compositions, mixes with their guitar-bass-drums equation, create angular yet melodic sings. They are reminiscent of the late 70′s/early 80s bands that insidiously added danceable rhythms to punk music (A Certain Ratio, Gang of Four, The Slits).
Liars are currently working on their new album, and if their past work is anything to go by, it will be just as unexpected and exciting as the rest of their work.
