Zulu Winter

Zulu Winter are quickly becoming one of the best live bands in London.

Formed in 2010, they wrote a whole albums worth of music before letting anyone hear it. In an interview with Fly Magazine they admit
“We’ve done it a strange way around,but we wanted to write our record and have the songs ready by the time we played any shows, because if you come out and aren’t up to speed playing-wise, without enough material, people are quick to write you off. We believed we needed to be as good as we could be before people heard us.”

Their theory has most definitely worked with with debut single “Never Leave / Lets Move Back To Front”. The Steve Reich-inspired track shows off their otherworldly, shimmering art-pop.

Their debut album is expected an April 2012, we can’t wait to hear their new tracks for Field Day.
