Formerly appearing on the scene as SICARIA, the past few years have seen Lou Nour firmly establish herself as a solo artist. Known for creating a genuine sense of community around the music she plays, she carries a deeply grassroots approach to electronic music, championing the culture from the ground up. This ethos has earned her recognition not only as a leading DJ but as a role model to her loyal fanbase and to other artists within the dance music landscape.
Characterised by her boisterous personality and fuelled by her passion for the genre, she continues to be praised across the community for supporting everything exciting and forward-thinking in bass music, cementing her reputation as a heavyweight advocate for lively, chest-rattling 140 BPM sounds.
Taking her fiery live sets across the world—from Miami to Tbilisi—Lou Nour has supported notable artists including Skrillex, Chase & Status, and Bicep. With tastemakers such as Crack, RA, Mixmag, and Boiler Room championing her, her influence only continues to grow.
Born and based in London but of Moroccan descent, Lou Nour cites her connection to SWANA culture as one of the biggest influences shaping her identity. Growing up, she was surrounded by everything from classical Arabic and Egyptian shaabi to Algerian raï, Moroccan gnawa, and the many sounds in between. It was during her teenage exploration of electronic dance music that she found the foundation for her fascination with bass-driven sounds. Inspired to break away from her university studies, she bought her first pair of CDJs, unknowingly setting the wheels in motion for her career.
In 2025, Lou Nour embarked on her most ambitious project yet: a full-length mixtape-style release fusing her love of low-end sonics with powerful collaborations from MCs and vocalists. Carrying a bold message about staying true to yourself, the project stands as a sonic manifesto for individuality and authenticity.
This next chapter marks a thrilling evolution of Lou Nour artistry, one that blurs the boundaries between sound, storytelling, and self-expression. And with even more in motion, one thing is certain: Lou Nour is always ready to push the envelope and deliver, making her an unmissable act at Field Day 2026.
