Rob Glassett, better known as Fold, is a London-based music producer influenced by his teenage immersion in pirate radio, raving and record collecting culture during the late 90s and early 2000s.
His particular strand of dance music draws on all facets of classic and contemporary sound system culture, creating blends that have an undeniable UK edge.
Rob is a seasoned music head and obsessive record collector with a style aimed directly at the dance floor. A resident at London’s NTS Radio, he is known for his eclectic back-to-back sets with longtime friend Joy Orbison. As well as co-running East London’s forward-leaning Well Street Records imprint, he has released on labels such as Aus Music, Electric Minds, Shall Not Fade and ManMakeMusic, maintaining his position as a key player in the underground of UK nightlife for over a decade.
Aside from being a talented producer, Rob is a prolific DJ, having played at venues large and small across the globe. He has held a monthly residency at NTS since 2014, with a gold mine of mix archives not limited by genre or style, featuring a host of guest mixes from forward-thinking UK artists.
